Job Title: Training and Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Training and Development Specialist to join our team.


This is a key role in building the skills of our trainers, designing and delivering non-accredited training to upskill them in delivering high-quality, engaging training and skills development. The successful candidate will have a strong background in training leadership, with at least 5 years' experience in a similar position.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify individual training needs, qualification upgrades, and further qualification attainment.
  • Collaborate with department heads to provide support to new mentors and trainers.
  • Train mentors and trainers in classroom management and student engagement.
  • Train mentors and trainers in workplace training delivery.
  • Evaluate trainer training and program delivery effectiveness.
  • Create and deliver trainer training-specific professional development.
  • Monitor trainer PD and industry release schedules and completions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of learning materials and delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years in a training leadership position.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Training delivery skills.
  • Evaluation skills – ability to assess trainer effectiveness and quality delivery standards.
  • Leadership skills – ability to lead and motivate training teams.
  • Mentoring and mentoring program development or proven skills to create.
  • Experience in using aXcelerate SMS and LMS software.
