HSE Systems Manager

We are seeking an experienced HSE Systems Manager to join our team at Hickory. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards of our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of current HSE practices and develop effective strategies to improve performance.
- Provide expert guidance to senior leadership on HSE matters.
- Lead the simplification, enhancement, and maintenance of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) systems.
- Develop training processes to enhance the engagement of site teams in the use of EH&S systems and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) compliance.
- Regularly visit sites to support project management teams and gather feedback for potential improvements.
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).
- Demonstrated computer skills, particularly with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of high-rise construction processes.
- Strong understanding of safety requirements for construction plant and equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in managing and organizing documentation.
- In-depth understanding of construction-related safety legislation.
- Mastery of industrial relations within the construction sector.
