**Leadership Opportunity for Risk and Compliance Professional**

The company is seeking an experienced risk and compliance professional to join its leadership team.

This executive role will be tasked with challenging and reinventing the management of risk, compliance and legal within the business.

You will have a team of 19 specialists to grow and contribute to overall business success.

As a member of the executive committee, this is a genuine leadership opportunity managing operational & credit risk, as well as compliance and regulatory matters.

The role will report directly to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Risk, Compliance & Legal functions within financial services
  • Create and maintain a high performing but commercial compliance culture
  • Develop forward thinking 3-5 year risk & compliance strategies
  • Communicate and engage with the Exec Team, regulators, and external providers
  • Consider customer outcomes and juggle multiple conflicting priorities across BAU outcomes and large projects and initiatives

Requirements
  • Sound experience leading Risk, Compliance & Legal functions within financial services
  • Experience creating and maintaining a high performing but commercial compliance culture
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to develop forward thinking 3-5 year risk & compliance strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding moral compass and truly consider the customer outcomes
