Data Strategy Lead

Drive the unification of data engineering and analytics functions to create a cohesive and effective analytics capability.

This role is ideal for an experienced professional with strong leadership skills and strategic thinking capabilities.

The Data Strategy Lead will be responsible for bridging two critical streams—data engineering and data analysis—to create a unified strategy. The successful candidate will not be expected to perform hands-on technical tasks but must possess enough technical fluency to guide teams, recommend improvements, and influence strategic decisions.

  • Develop and implement a unified strategy for data engineering and analytics teams.
  • Provide strategic oversight across the Azure Analytics stack and Databricks.
  • Recommend and implement improvements based on industry best practices.
  • Deliver insights that drive business decisions and innovation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure analytics solutions meet business needs.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Data Analytics Manager, ideally with a consulting background.
  • Strong understanding of Azure Analytics stack and Databricks.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and their business applications.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to deliver results within budget constraints.
  • Technically fluent, with the ability to guide and influence without being hands-on.
