Job Description

Job Title: Insurance Policy Specialist

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work from home and our Aon office. Your day will be busy with administration and client servicing, which will be the key to your success.

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Policy Specialist to join our team. As an Insurance Policy Specialist, you will provide administration support to our Account Brokers regarding client insurance/risk needs.

You will communicate with clients via phone, email and face-to-face meetings to support their insurance needs. You will participate in insurance policy pre-renewal, renewal and post-renewal activities including drafting quotations and creating renewal reports.

You will prepare, lodge, and invoice insurance policies in an accurate and timely manner. You will attend client meetings and work on tender processes, client renewals, claims and other insurance broking duties.

You will manage key stakeholder relationships with Senior Brokers, Underwriters, Client Executives and Client Managers. You will enhance the client experience through outstanding customer service.

Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience supporting Senior Brokers with their client accounts
  • Client service, underwriting, claims or insurance broking experience
  • Experience across general insurance products
  • Tier 1 - Insurance Broking qualification or willingness to achieve this qualification
  • Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Competent with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
