Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Development Manager to contribute to the delivery of exciting projects in the territory.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to shape urban communities across ACT and surrounding regions. As an Assistant Development Manager, you will assist in preparing design briefs & submission reviews, contribute to conceptualising and delivering project strategies, manage consultants and contractors during design, documentation, construction and title registration phases, build strong relationships with key stakeholders and deliver high levels of customer service, communicate effectively with government agencies to ensure timely issue of approvals, collaborate in conceptualising applicable sales and marketing strategies across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective project strategies that meet business objectives
  • Manage and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve project goals
  • Ensure timely and within-budget project delivery by managing resources and escalating issues as necessary
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Contribute to the development of proposals, pitches and tenders to secure new business opportunities
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in construction or property related degree
  • Proven experience working across ACT built form projects
  • Strong understanding of early development (concept planning, marketing, finance etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
