Key to success lies in a Mechanical Equipment Specialist who can effectively monitor and report on asset condition.

About the Role:

As an integral member of our Asset Team, this specialist will be responsible for supporting daily tasks, participating in root cause analysis, and contributing to the overall efficiency of Coke Plant 2.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and report on asset condition
  • Support Asset Improvement Coordinators with day-to-day tasks
  • Scope and plan maintenance, shutdowns, and breakdowns
  • Ensure accurate creation of work orders in SAP
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis
  • Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams

Requirements:

  • Mechanical Trade Qualification (Diploma of Engineering or equivalent)
  • Solid understanding of mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive attitude and pride in workmanship
  • Relevant experience in similar roles or willing to take the next step
  • NSW Driver's Licence and basic computer literacy
  • Passion for continuous improvement and effective communication
