Redpath Mining is seeking a Maintenance Manager 10/4 or 5/2 roster to join our passionate and highly skilled Shaft Sinking Team working at the Appin project in New South Wales.
About The Role
- 10/4 FIFO or a 5/2 Residential roster
- FIFO from any capital city in Australia
Reporting to the Project Director you will be responsible for:
- Ensure the planning and execution of the repairs and maintenance of mechanical equipment on site;
- Ensure all maintenance staff have effective direction, supervision and coaching;
- Identify and manage risk as required;
- Ensure systems and processed are in place for the management of breakdowns;
- Liaise with Client Representatives as required, in a professional manner
- Coordinate the day to day recording of progress of works
- Health and safety conscious
- Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Mechanical trade qualification or relevant tertiary qualification
- Experience in mechanical installation and maintenance in a mining environment;
- Proven experience with managing a large team of mechanical maintenance personnel;
- Thorough understanding of inspections and maintenance scheduling;
- Strong leadership and people management skills;
