About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Specialist to join our Australia New Zealand Marketing and Communications team at AECOM. As a key member of our corporate communications team, you will play a critical role in building our brand, supporting our culture, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective channel strategies to engage our external audiences, including our website and social media channels.
  • Collaborate with our Australia New Zealand and Global Communications teams to create and coordinate content that aligns with our brand and messaging.
  • Work closely with our regional delivery and operational leadership teams to develop and communicate key messages to our employees and stakeholders.
  • Provide high-volume, high-quality communications support to our multidisciplinary team of engineers, planners, project managers, environmentalists, and scientists.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior leadership and other key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Tertiary journalism and/or communications qualification (s) or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a corporate communications environment.
  • Competency in MS Office, Powerpoint.
  • Proactivity, speed, and responsiveness.
  • A sense of humour.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly effective written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of users and technical staff.
