Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Systems Support Specialist to join our team at Hamilton Island, a premier holiday destination in Australia.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing technical support and troubleshooting for various computer systems and software applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
- Provide technical support for end-users, assisting with software installations, configurations, and troubleshooting.
- Assist in network troubleshooting and maintenance, resolving connectivity problems and configuring network devices.
- Maintain system performance by proactively monitoring and updating software and hardware to ensure security and efficiency.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, such as user guides and troubleshooting procedures.
- Provide after-hours support on a rotating basis, including weekends, and be available for short-notice travel to Hamilton Island.
About You:
- Proven experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Proficiency in MS Active Directory, Citrix, and common software applications including M365 and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Australian Driver's Licence.
- Experience in the hospitality industry (desirable).
