At James Hardie, we're seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll provide expert technical support to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring excellence in customer service and driving business growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing AU-wide technical support to builders, architects, salespeople, and the general public
  • Responding to technical enquiries to minimize risk
  • Offering Level 1 to Level 3 phone and email technical support
  • Supporting the claims department in completing claims processes
  • Managing our Take-Off service to meet Service Level Agreements

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Building, Engineering (Civil), or Architecture
  • Experience in the trade or building industry is highly desirable
  • Strong customer service skills, ideally in a call centre environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and aptitude to learn new software and systems
