Competency-Based Traineeship in Surface Extraction Operations

This exciting traineeship opportunity is designed to provide motivated individuals with hands-on experience in a general mining operation, leading to a nationally recognised Certificate III - Surface Extraction Operations qualification.

  • This competency-based traineeship offers the chance to gain valuable industry experience and kick-start a career in the mining sector.

The traineeship will take place over 24 months, during which time you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive on-the-job environment.

About You:

  • Hold a current Car P2 drivers' licence or higher (manual vehicle required)
  • Be able to commit to a rotating roster including nights and weekends
  • Provide 2 recent work referees and be willing to undergo an Order 43 Coal Services Health medical and D&A Test

What We Offer:

  • Excellent flat pay rates ranging from $47-$48 per hour
  • Superannuation paid on all rostered hours
  • Permanent opportunities may be available after successful completion of the traineeship
