A leading force in the Queensland metallurgical coal mining industry is offering exciting opportunities for experienced leaders to shape the future of our operations.

We are seeking skilled individuals to manage people and equipment, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and promoting a safe and efficient working environment at Carborough Downs and Ironbark No.1 mines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritise activities with the crew to achieve targets.
  • Provide leadership to the crew, setting a positive example and assisting the team to achieve their full potential.
  • Clearly define and communicate performance goals and provide regular and objective feedback on performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory requirements and carry out statutory inspections and mine standards.
  • Ensure all workers work safely and efficiently while carrying out their duties with due regard for quality of work.
  • Complete required levels of reporting as part of information flow on site.

Requirements:

  • A Queensland First, Second or Third-class Certificate of Competency or a Queensland Mutual Recognition.
  • Ability to think laterally, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills.
