Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Frontline Mine Supervisor to lead our team in the Bowen Basin. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring the safe and efficient execution of work activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prioritization of tasks with the crew to achieve targets.
  • Providing leadership and setting a positive example for the team.
  • Clearly defining performance goals and providing regular feedback.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and conducting inspections.
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Completing reporting requirements as part of information flow on site.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must hold a Queensland First, Second or Third-class Certificate of Competency or have a Mutual Recognition from NSW. You will also need strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think laterally.
