About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Admissions Officer to join our team at RMIT University. In this strategic recruitment role, you will play a vital part in shaping the future of international student intake at our institution. This opportunity offers an exciting challenge to process international student applications, conduct thorough qualifications assessments, and curate a diverse cohort of students for our renowned programs.

Your contributions will extend beyond admissions, as you will be instrumental in our recruitment efforts, ensuring that our application and selection processes meet and surpass recruitment targets while upholding the highest standards of customer service.

To excel in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of skills and qualities that set you apart:

  • A comprehensive understanding of international qualifications assessment and the Genuine Temporary Entrant criteria within the tertiary education system.
  • The ability to thrive independently as a natural team player, with strong self-motivation and problem-solving skills.
  • The capacity to handle vast amounts of intricate information, utilising criteria-based methodologies to analyse, report, and provide well-informed recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills, effectively conveying ideas and insights to ensure clarity and coherence in all interactions.
