About the Role

As a key member of the Experience Group at RMIT University, this role plays a pivotal part in shaping the future of international student intake. The Senior Admissions Officer position offers an exciting opportunity to process international student applications, conduct thorough qualifications assessments, and curate a diverse cohort of students for our renowned programs.

The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of skills and qualities that set them apart:

  • A comprehensive understanding of international qualifications assessment and the Genuine Temporary Entrant criteria within the tertiary education system or an area related to international students.
  • A natural team player with the ability to thrive independently, managing multiple priorities and consistently meeting deadlines under pressure.
  • The capacity to handle vast amounts of intricate information, navigating complex systems and procedures with ease.
  • Strong communication skills, effectively conveying ideas and insights to ensure clarity and coherence in all interactions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process international student applications, ensuring timely and accurate decision-making.
  • Conduct thorough qualifications assessments, upholding the highest standards of quality and integrity.
  • Curate a diverse cohort of students, leveraging expert knowledge to identify talented individuals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, fostering collaborative environments.

This is a Full-time, Continuing position offering a salary level HEW 6 + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements. Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, with hybrid ways of working, occasional travel may be required within Australia or overseas for recruitment activities.
