Job Title

Senior Accountant Position

This is a leadership role in our accounting team where you will oversee financial reporting, tax compliance, and strategic business planning. You will also manage client relationships, oversee project delivery, and ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of accountants ensuring high performance, professional growth, and effective collaboration.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients providing strategic financial advice.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements ensuring accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and timely submission.
  • Manage tax preparation, planning, and compliance activities staying up to date with the latest regulations.
  • Track and report on team performance metrics ensuring targets are met and operational efficiency is maximized.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in public accounting with a focus on Australian taxation across all entity types.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero and MS Office.
  • Exceptional communication and client relationship management skills.
