Job Title: Senior Leadership Opportunity

This leadership role presents a pivotal opportunity to guide a team of leaders and specialists who support customers across various brands and channels, particularly during challenging moments.

As the leader of our hardship function, you will drive strategic uplift programs, embed regulatory compliance in customer support, and shape how we deliver assistance to individuals facing financial difficulties.

The successful candidate will oversee the transition of Hardship Uplift deliverables and ensure the embedding of APRA's CPS 230 – Critical Operations requirements. This role requires strong people-focused leadership, guiding a team serving vulnerable customers with empathy, clarity, and purpose.

Collaboration with senior stakeholders and influencing at GM level and above is essential to foster a culture of excellence and care. A seasoned leader with deep experience in hardship and collections, you will lead through complexity and bring others along for the journey.

A strong operational and change management background, coupled with coaching and mentoring other leaders, is crucial. You must be able to coach and mentor other leaders while maintaining a sharp focus on risk, compliance, and customer outcomes. Effective communication skills are also vital, as you will need to engage with the front line, influence senior stakeholders, and drive a high-performing culture.

Responsibilities:
