We are seeking a skilled Residential Building Project Manager to lead our residential construction projects.

About the Role:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a results-driven professional to join our team and take on the challenge of managing multiple residential building projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning:
    • Create comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
    • Closely monitor project progress and quality to ensure timely completion.
    • Collaborate with project engineers to review drawings and ensure accuracy and feasibility.
    • Develop estimates, bid requests, and purchase orders.
  • On-Site Management:
    • Maintain regular site visits to inspect project progress, quality, and safety.
    • Proactively address any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
    • Ensure all stakeholders receive timely updates on project activity, schedules, and documentation.
    • Enforce strict adherence to quality assurance and health & safety protocols.
    • Promote efficient project execution to minimize delays and maximize productivity.
  • Project Administration:
    • Oversee project expenditures and ensure accurate budget management.
    • Manage financial aspects of projects, including invoicing, change orders, and budget tracking.
    • Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors to secure favorable terms.
    • Maintain precise project records in our project management system.
    • Identify opportunities to enhance processes and drive operational efficiency.
  • Client Relationships:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Provide regular project updates and promptly address client concerns.
    • Foster trust and transparency through consistent communication.
    • Deliver projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
    • Promote a unified team image and consistently represent our organization's values.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    • Proactively manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Implement quality control procedures and enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
    Requirements:
    • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on residential construction experience.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong skills in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and problem-solving.
    • Exceptional ability to balance field operations with administrative rigor.
    • Experience working with project management software or similar platforms.
    • Highly detail-oriented and organized, with a proactive mindset.
    • Excellent communication and client service skills.
    • Ability to effectively lead subcontractors and collaborate with internal teams.
