Residential and Retirement Living Project Manager

This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the delivery of residential and retirement living projects, including medium-density and retirement village developments. As a Senior Construction Manager, you will be required to possess strong leadership, planning, and communication skills to manage site-based teams and subcontractors across various locations.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in senior construction roles within residential building, with previous involvement in retirement village or seniors living projects being highly regarded. They must also have solid knowledge of trade sequencing, build quality, and site safety.
About the Role:
- Oversee and coordinate multiple residential and retirement living construction projects
- Manage site-based teams and subcontractors across various locations
- Maintain project timelines, quality benchmarks, and budgetary targets
- Collaborate with internal departments, consultants, and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and site documentation
- Report on project status, challenges, and progress to senior management
Key Requirements:
- 5-10 years' experience in a senior construction role within residential building
- Previous involvement in retirement village or seniors living projects is highly regarded
- Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills
- Solid knowledge of trade sequencing, build quality, and site safety
- White Card, valid driver's licence, and relevant qualifications
- A proactive and organised approach to construction management
