Job Overview

The Mechanical Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing and directing teams of mechanical tradespeople to deliver projects safely, on-time, and within budget.

This position involves overseeing the workforce's skills development, ensuring high-quality work, and maintaining a leading safety culture.

  • Direct supervision of mechanical trades at site
  • Facilitate continuous improvement in workforce skills development and quality of completed work
  • Manage and comply with all Safety, Environmental, and Quality requirements

This includes effectively managing employee relations, maintaining excellent client relationships, and assisting in project tendering and cost control.

A strong leadership background in a petrochemical environment is essential for this role, along with a Construction Industry Induction Card and First Aid Certificate.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing and maintaining client relationships
  • Ability to lead personnel to achieve company objectives
  • Commitment to OHSE and general understanding of HS&E Policies
  • Strong Leadership Skills and good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational skills and ability to identify and mitigate project/task risks
Required Qualifications
  • Experience working in a petrochemical background supervising multi-discipline workgroups
  • Construction industry induction card
  • First Aid Certificate (Level II)
