Job Title: Senior Mechanical Operations Supervisor

The Future Generation Joint Venture (FGJV) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Operations Supervisor to lead our mechanical operations team. As a key member of our site leadership team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily mechanical running, operation, and maintenance of the TBM and associated mechanical equipment.
  • Organize and plan work for future mechanical operations, including managing planned maintenance for all mechanical equipment on site.
  • Perform material requisitions for project materials, spare parts, and required project equipment.
  • Liaise with the Mechanical Manager for all TBM, conveyor, and associated equipment assembly/installation/dismantling, commissioning, and testing works.

As a Senior Mechanical Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical operations are conducted safely and efficiently. You will work closely with the Mechanical Manager and other site leaders to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements:
  • Mechanical trade background or qualification.
  • White Card certification.
  • Driving license.
  • Extensive experience in civil or tunnelling construction (5 years).
  • Typically, 5+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working on TBM projects.
  • Experience in major infrastructure construction operations of similar scale.
