About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Specialist to join our team at Respect Aged Care. As a key member of our People and Culture team, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end recruitment solutions and building talent acquisition strategies, processes, and capabilities for our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers to provide recruitment solutions and build talent acquisition strategies.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including advertising and attracting suitable candidates through multiple forums.
  • Identify future hiring needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
  • Remain up-to-date on the requirements of various positions in the organisation and relevant legislation.
  • Answer enquiries from potential candidates and the general public about working for Respect Aged Care.
  • Assist with the onboarding of candidates, including confirmation of classification and relevant entitlements.
  • Assist with candidate screening, assessment interpretation, and interviews.
  • Assist with reference and background checking on potentially successful candidates.
  • Interpret customer needs while demonstrating sensitivity and understanding of the diversity of Respect Aged Care business units.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of recruitment-related policies, procedures, and systems.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or previous experience in a similar role.
  • 3+ years of experience in a recruitment role, either external agency or internal.
  • Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
