About the Opportunity

This is a permanent full-time role within our Quality Department, offering leadership in quality improvement across a leading hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead contemporary patient safety practices and support quality systems relating to patient safety.
  • Foster a just culture and learning environment to support high-quality safe care.
  • Oversight of our quality systems including adverse patient safety events management and Victorian Hospital Incident Management System (VHIMS) governance.
  • Leadership and support of committees that promote high-quality, safe care.
  • Clinical governance support for critical care and ambulatory care divisions, as well as quality and improvement support for other hospital departments.
Your Skills and Experience:
  • Demonstrated senior leadership within a tertiary healthcare setting.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in a related field (preferably at Masters level).
  • Relevant industry experience and proven ability in building effective teams.
  • Excellent communication, report preparation, and presentation skills.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of quality improvement principles.
