Quality Improvement Lead

We are seeking a skilled Quality Improvement Lead to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving quality initiatives forward and ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our patients.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of quality activities that improve patient outcomes. As a Quality Improvement Lead, you will have a strong understanding of quality improvement principles and practices, as well as experience in leading and managing teams.

You will be responsible for providing support and guidance to staff on quality improvement tools and methods, as well as facilitating risk management processes. Additionally, you will work closely with senior leaders to identify and address safety concerns, and provide timely and accurate datasets and reports to inform governance committees and meetings.

What You Will Bring
  • A minimum of three years' experience in a senior leadership role within a healthcare organisation
  • Clinical experience within Community Mental Health or Inpatient Mental Health Services (highly desirable)
  • Relevant tertiary health sciences qualification, or acceptable equivalent
  • Demonstrated understanding of the National Standards and experience in preparation for survey
  • Understanding and experience in quality improvement principles and practices
  • Experience in leading, managing or teaching a team
  • Experience in facilitating clinical risk management processes in a healthcare setting

  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check
  • Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders
