Job Title: Client Focused Behaviour Support Specialist

We are seeking a clinician to join our national team of Psychologists & Counsellors providing clinical services to NDIS participants aged 0-65. The role involves working across early intervention, school age, adolescent and adult services with clients who have various presentations, diagnoses and disability types.

The day-to-day duties will involve collaborating with allied health practitioners, support workers and family members to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients. This includes assessing and observing participants' challenging behaviours, developing strategies to increase skills, improve emotion regulation and introduce replacement behaviours to reduce restrictive practices.

A key focus of the role is on developing Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans and assessments that aim to increase a person's quality of life, including improving their skills and enhancing their independence. A strong bond forms between you and your clients as you celebrate their achievements together.
