At Amazon Advertising, we're transforming the way agencies and brands collaborate to drive growth.

We're seeking a seasoned sales and business development leader to join our team as an Agency Partnerships Director. As a key strategic partner, you'll be responsible for developing and executing customer-led strategies to accelerate agency partnerships across local and regional levels.

Your primary focus will be on building strong relationships with media agencies, providing leadership and support to sales, service, operations, and technical specialists. You'll work closely with the sales team to drive sales execution, manage key strategic opportunities, and develop commercial structures to create incremental growth opportunities.

To succeed in this role, you'll need exceptional communication skills, experience working with senior counterparts at agencies and advertisers, and the ability to earn trust with stakeholders across Amazon teams. You should also be comfortable with complex data sets, have a consultative style, and be able to invent and simplify solutions for customers.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of video advertising, screens planning, retail media, programmatic, data, and ad technology. Self-motivation, autonomy, and goal-orientation are essential qualities for this role, as you'll contribute to Amazon Advertising's ambitious growth plans.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

8+ years of Digital Advertising experience

5+ years of experience working with Media Agencies, either on the Agency or Client side

3+ years of direct experience in Programmatic Marketing

5+ years working with Media Agency senior partners

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 10+ years of experience in agencies and/or advertising sales, account leadership, client services

Expertise in navigating complex matrix organizations and building strong, consultative customer relationships

Practical knowledge of Commerce, Ad Tech stacks, plus video/audio/OutOfHome/on-box advertising

Proven track record of delivering results and generating transformational growth
