Registered Nurse and Clinical Nurse

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Registered Nurse and Clinical Nurse in our healthcare team. You will be responsible for delivering safe, person-centred nursing care to children and youth with haematology and oncology conditions.

  • Delivering high-quality patient care by assessing patient needs, implementing therapeutic interventions, and monitoring care plans to achieve optimal health outcomes.
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams and families to provide comprehensive care.
  • Participating in clinical teaching, supporting the learning and development of students and less experienced staff.
  • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to clinical audits, research, and evidence-based practice to enhance service delivery.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding or eligible for a current practicing certificate.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritize workload efficiently.
  • Creative, innovative, and flexible approach to challenges in healthcare settings.
  • Demonstrated competence in nursing practice aligned with professional standards.
