Paediatric Sedation Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our Paediatric Sedation Service team in South Australia.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering expert, person-centred nursing care to paediatric patients, ensuring safety, comfort and positive healthcare experiences. They will also collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate timely and effective care interventions.
Key Responsibilities
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Registered (or eligible) Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding (or eligible to hold) a current practicing certificate.
- Current Paediatric Life Support certificate. (or willingness to complete WCHN Paediatric Intermediate Life Support program).
- Minimum of 3 years post-registration experience with demonstrated clinical competence in the relevant area of nursing practice.
- Proven leadership skills, including strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Experience in developing clinical policies, procedures, and managing service-related projects.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, prioritise workloads, support consumer engagement, and lead change initiatives.
