About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse – WCH@Home. This is an exciting opportunity to provide expert, person-centered paediatric nursing care through telehealth and home visits.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and external providers.
- Assess and manage individual care plans, ensuring effective therapeutic interventions and monitoring patient outcomes daily.
- Provide clinical leadership on shifts, guiding less experienced staff and supporting seamless patient flow within the team.
- Collaborate in service planning, quality improvement, and change management initiatives to enhance care delivery and operational efficiency.
- Support clinical education, mentoring students and new staff while contributing to research, audits, and development of clinical protocols.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding or eligible for a current practicing certificate.
- Minimum of 3 years full-time equivalent post-registration nursing/midwifery experience, demonstrating clinical competence.
- Proven experience in guiding student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, healthcare standards, quality improvement systems, and contemporary nursing/midwifery issues.
