The Role of an Account Manager is to establish and maintain relationships with installation partners, acting as their go-to expert on environmental certificate schemes.

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the state-based environmental certificate programs.
  • Account Management: Build strong relationships with installation partners and provide them with clear actionable guidance on energy efficiency policies and compliance requirements.
  • Simplify Complexity: Interpret and explain complex energy efficiency policies in a simple and actionable way.
  • Drive Results: Help partners unlock the full value of state and national energy efficiency schemes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal policy, operations, and technical teams to deliver seamless project execution.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Monitor regulatory developments and help partners adapt to evolving policy landscapes.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in account management, preferably within the state-based certificate programs.
  • Demonstrated business development experience and ability within the state-based certificate programs.
  • Previous experience with an Accredited Certificate Provider (ACP) is strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of energy efficiency or environmental policy frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills – confident in translating complex information into practical solutions.
  • A proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced purpose-driven environment.
  • A team player with a customer-first mindset.
