**The Role**

We are currently seeking an Energy Solutions Specialist to work from our Sydney office. The individual will be an enthusiastic and motivated who understands the importance of great project and account management and wants to help others save money by becoming more energy efficient. The Energy Solutions Specialist will be reporting to the GM, Large Energy Users who is based in Queensland.

**The main responsibilities of the role are**
- Directly engage with new and existing clients in order to build relationships and create sales.
- Provide market, industry and competitive analysis and stay informed of competitive products in the marketplace
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry partners that are active within the SME space including the State Authorities, other industry associations, operators and trade partners
- Proactively identify new and different business opportunities to provide increased sales
- Identify and develop new products and business opportunities with identified key target agents
- Project Manage BD projects until such a point that they are handed over to the rest of the business to be a part of business as usual.
- Resolve escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments
- Conduct and present research on new growth opportunities.
- Negotiate deals that boost corporate performance

This role is integral in building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients, to ensure continued profitability and market share increase.

**Skills and Experience Required**
- 2 years in a similar role of Sales/Business Development
- New Business Development and solid Market understanding
- Broad product knowledge of Solar products and any other renewable energy product
- Experienced Client Account Management methodologies and systems
- Ability to engender confidence in communications at all levels
- Understanding of energy efficiencies programs and Government legislation programs - desirable
- Experience working within an energy or affiliated industry - desirable
- Experience working with LED lighting and or Electric vehicles - desirable
- Problem solving skills
- Highly skilled and demonstrated customer service principles and practices
- Strong time management skills
- Project management skills
- Excellent communication skills displayed with confidence
- Good skills in Microsoft Excel
- Passionate about energy efficiency and building a more sustainable future
