Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Energy Efficiency Team Lead to join our Sydney-based team. This is a key, commercially focused position responsible for delivering end-to-end project management of energy services installations.

About the Role

The Centralised Energy Services Team is responsible for delivering project management of energy services installations to multi-unit developments, including embedded networks, solar, and EV solutions. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • End-to-end project management of energy services installations
  • Stakeholder management of developers, builders, contractors, equipment providers, and gas network providers
  • Effective liaison with sales teams and internal stakeholders
  • Quality and HSE inspections on site
  • Collation and completion of records, close-out documentation, and handover to Origin's Asset Management group
Key Responsibilities

You will need to have demonstrated experience in the technical installation, operation, and maintenance of hot water plants, hot water metering systems, and meters. You will also need technical expertise in energy-efficient products, equipment, and technologies. Additionally, you will need demonstrated competence and experience in project management and managing contractors in an installation and service environment.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in the technical installation, operation, and maintenance of hot water plants, hot water metering systems, and meters
  • Technical expertise in energy-efficient products, equipment, and technologies
  • Demonstrated competence and experience in project management
  • Demonstrated competence in managing contractors in an installation and service environment
  • Direct experience dealing with decision-makers in third-party organisations
