Job Description

The role of Operational Efficiency Specialist involves driving process improvements and supporting the successful delivery of energy projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Partner with project managers to embed process improvements across the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and refine workflows, checklists, and quality standards to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Analyse current processes, identify opportunities, and implement improvements using Lean Six Sigma principles.
  • Build dashboards and reports in Power BI and Excel to track and present performance metrics.
  • Oversee documentation control, ensuring compliance with certification standards.
  • Support onboarding and training, while ensuring seamless interdepartmental handovers across sales, delivery, commissioning, and asset management.
  • Present process insights and recommendations to senior leadership on a quarterly basis.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Around 3-6 years' experience with energy projects (solar PV or batteries desirable).
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills, with the ability to create dashboards and analyse data for decision making.
  • Proven ability to design and optimise process flows, ensuring efficiency and compliance with ISO standards.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to influence and embed change across the business.
