About the Role

We are seeking a Radiology Area Manager to oversee the efficient and effective performance of designated radiology sites.

This is a multi-site leadership role that requires operational, financial, compliance, and customer outcomes across practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage labor resources effectively, including rostering, leave, overtime, and on-call requirements.
  • Monitor labor percentages and productivity metrics to optimize staff performance.
  • Oversee appointment bookings to maximize efficiency.
  • Implement effective stock management, ensuring adequate supply while exploring cost-saving alternatives.
  • Drive billing optimization and timeliness across all site departments.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance, service, and compliance schedules.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, staff coaching, and performance management.
  • Build strong relationships with referrers, doctors, and site leadership teams to resolve operational issues.
  • Proactively engage with patients, staff, and referrers to deliver the highest standards of service.
  • Ensure compliance with all WHS, regulatory, and company policies.

  • Lead the expansion of MRI services into existing facilities, coordinating planning, implementation, and service roll-out.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar radiology or healthcare management role (multi-site preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Sound knowledge of compliance requirements and industry standards.
  • Experience managing service expansions, refurbishments, or new site developments is highly regarded.
  • The ability to drive performance and deliver measurable results.
