Job Summary:

The Radiology Operations Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing and driving all capital expenditure projects related to radiology equipment and practice development.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute multi-year project plans for radiology equipment upgrades, ensuring seamless integration with existing workflows.
  • Lead the analysis of equipment performance and maintenance costs to inform strategic investment decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with clinical leadership to assess and prioritise equipment and service needs based on operational requirements.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts, guaranteeing compliance and optimal value.
  • Support senior leadership with contract negotiations and portfolio management.
  • Directly oversee the Radiology Operations team, encompassing resource planning, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Ensure cohesive communication and collaboration between Radiology Operations, radiologists, and practice leaders.
  • Work synergistically with clinical and modality operations managers to deliver holistic operational outcomes.
