Radiology Area Manager


About the Role:

This Radiology Area Manager position offers a unique opportunity to lead daily operations, oversee site expansions, and drive business growth.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Operational Excellence: Manage labor resources effectively, ensuring efficient rostering, leave, overtime, and on-call requirements.
  2. Performance Optimization: Monitor labor percentages and productivity metrics to maximize staff performance and achieve operational goals.
  3. Scheduling Efficiency: Oversee appointment bookings to optimize efficiency and minimize wait times.
  4. Inventory Management: Implement effective stock management practices to ensure adequate supply while exploring cost-saving alternatives.
  5. Billing and Compliance: Drive billing optimization and timeliness across all site departments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  6. Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate equipment maintenance, service, and compliance schedules to ensure optimal functionality.
  7. Leadership and Development: Lead recruitment, onboarding, staff coaching, and performance management initiatives to build a high-performing team.
  8. Customer Engagement: Proactively engage with patients, staff, and referrers to deliver exceptional customer experiences and build strong relationships.
  9. Compliance and Risk: Ensure adherence to all WHS, regulatory, and company policies to mitigate risk and maintain a safe working environment.

About You:

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • Proven Leadership: Experience in a similar radiology or healthcare management role (multi-site preferred).

  • Expansion Experience: Experience managing service expansions, refurbishments, or new site developments is highly regarded.
