Are you an experienced and dedicated Cluster / Area Manager or Site Manager looking for a new challenge in healthcare management? Carlisle Health – Radiology Qld Group is seeking a dynamic Radiology Area Manager to oversee the efficient and effective performance of a designated group of metropolitan radiology sites. In addition to leading daily operations, this role will play a key part in overseeing the construction of new radiology sites and managing the expansion of MRI services into existing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

In this multi-site leadership role, you will be responsible for the operational, financial, compliance and customer outcomes across your practices. This includes:

  • Managing labor resources effectively, including rostering, leave, overtime, and on-call requirements.
  • Monitoring labor percentages and productivity metrics to optimize staff performance.
  • Overseeing appointment bookings to maximize efficiency.
  • Implementing effective stock management, ensuring adequate supply while exploring cost-saving alternatives.
  • Driving billing optimization and timeliness across all site departments.
  • Coordinating equipment maintenance, service, and compliance schedules.
  • Leading recruitment, onboarding, staff coaching, and performance management.
  • Building strong relationships with referrers, doctors, and site leadership teams to resolve operational issues.
  • Proactively engaging with patients, staff, and referrers to deliver the highest standards of service.
  • Ensuring compliance with all WHS, regulatory, and company policies.

  • Lead the expansion of MRI services into existing facilities, coordinating planning, implementation, and service roll-out.
  • Partner with senior management and clinical teams to deliver innovative imaging solutions that support ongoing business growth.
About You

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in a similar radiology or healthcare management role (multi-site preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Sound knowledge of compliance requirements and industry standards.
  • Experience managing service expansions, refurbishments, or new site developments is highly regarded.
  • The ability to drive performance and deliver measurable results.
  • A commitment to patient care and customer satisfaction.
