Training Development Specialist

This role involves identifying, developing and delivering training requirements to ensure staff are qualified and compliant for their particular role. It entails preparing and conducting internal training courses, liaising with subject matter experts, drafting and updating manuals, maintaining records and equipment, staying up-to-date with industry trends, and promoting safety and compliance in line with relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver training packages that meet the needs of targeted audiences.
- Liaise with subject matter experts to ensure course currency and relevance.
- Maintain accurate records of training completed by staff.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organisation.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualification in adult education.
- Aircraft Maintenance Trade or CASA Part 66 Cat B licence.
- Excellent communication and teaching skills.
- Ability to design and implement effective training packages.
- Strong computing skills (Microsoft Office suite).
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritise work commitments.
- Recent experience developing and delivering Engineering related training courses.
- Thorough understanding of CASR Parts 145 and 147.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems and Authoring Software.
- Desirable: Experience with Embraer E190 and Fokker F70/100.
