IT Support Role

We are looking for a skilled IT professional to join our team in a challenging and dynamic role.

This opportunity will see you working as the primary point of contact for all IT issues, providing advanced support across a range of technical areas including hardware, software, networking and cybersecurity.

You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex technical issues, diagnosing problems and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure, with experience in system administration, infrastructure management and cybersecurity principles.

Additionally, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms and provide user-friendly support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing advanced IT support across hardware, software, networking and cybersecurity
  • Troubleshooting complex technical issues and implementing solutions
  • Maintaining servers, Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange Online, SharePoint and business-critical applications
  • Supporting firewalls, switches, wireless networks, WANs, VPNs and phone systems
  • Driving IT projects forward from planning and scoping to execution
  • Championing cybersecurity and monitoring risks
  • Training and supporting users with patience and professionalism
Requirements:
  • Relevant IT qualification or equivalent experience
  • 3–5 years of IT support experience, system administration and infrastructure management
  • Solid technical knowledge across Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, networking, virtualisation and backup / recovery systems
  • Experience with firewalls, WANs, VPNs, IT Ticketing and phone systems
  • Cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Natural problem solver with great communication skills
  • Flexibility to participate in after-hours support rotations
