**About the Role**

Wood Plc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrument Designer to join our team in the Northern Territory as part of our Operations APAC West business.

We deliver Engineering, Procurement, and Construction services to the oil and gas sector, with a strong focus on long-term partnerships with prominent producers in Western Australia and the Northern Territory.

As a key member of our core design team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Instrumentation and Electrical Systems for brownfields oil and gas projects.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design and develop Instrumentation and Electrical Systems for brownfields oil and gas projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Develop and maintain Engineering Standards and Procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations
  • Provide Technical Guidance and Support to junior designers and engineers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in Instrumentation and Electrical Design

**Requirements**

  • Relevant degree in Instrumentation and Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in Brownfields Engineering or a related field
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality designs and projects on time and within budget
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
