The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for managing inventory and logistics strategies to ensure efficient and accurate stock management. This role requires a meticulous and proactive individual who can manage detailed administrative tasks and contribute to our business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Ensure all inventory documentation is complete, accurate, and properly filed. Perform comprehensive inventory checks and manage the ERP system for inventory tracking.
- Process Optimization: Identify and address gaps in inventory processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Support Production Objectives: Work closely with the contract-productions team to meet supply objectives and ensure timely availability of stock.
- Forecasting and Purchasing: Support stock forecasting processes and manage purchasing tasks including scheduled stock ordering and special custom product orders.
- Shipping Coordination: Assist in the shipping process, manage documentation, and coordinate with branch staff, product managers, sales teams, and external partners.
- Establish and Maintain Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Evaluate Vendor Performance: Evaluate vendor performance, assess risks, and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
- Negotiate and Draft Agreements: Negotiate and draft supply agreements, including terms and conditions with suppliers.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure contracts are compliant and meet the company's legal and quality standards.
- Develop Inventory Strategies: Develop inventory strategies that align with demand forecasting.
Product Knowledge:
- Develop a deep understanding of our products and services to effectively evaluate and make decisions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and pricing fluctuations and bring relevant reports/information to the appropriate stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, sales, finance, product development, and quality, to provide product improvements to suppliers and valuable feedback and insights from vendor interactions.
Reporting:
- Regularly prepare and present purchasing reports to management, including market data, and recommendations.
- Stay up to date with business initiatives and report on the impact to procurement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in supply chain, purchasing, merchandising, or inventory management.
- Experience with inventory systems or ERP and materials planning.
- Strong administrative abilities with a high level of attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent numerical reasoning and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across various teams.
- Effective time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
