Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Inventory Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, identifying optimal levels for excellent operational performance and working capital.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company as a Strategic Inventory Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing all business activity in relation to parts enquires, interpretation and supply. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our inventory levels are optimized to meet customer demands while minimizing waste and excess stock.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize inventory levels.
- Manage inventory levels, including forecasting, ordering, and receiving inventory.
- Work closely with the management team to develop and implement policies and procedures related to inventory management.
- Analyze data and metrics to inform inventory decisions and drive business results.
- Ensure that all inventory-related processes and procedures are followed correctly.
Requirements:
- Experience in strategic inventory management, preferably in a similar industry or role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
