We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Food Service Associate to join our team at Bupa Templestowe, a modern care home in Melbourne's North West.
This is a Permanent role with PM availability, offering a great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with basic food preparation and presentation to meet residents' dietary needs.
- Provide meals and snacks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Clear dining areas and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Maintain legislated food safety practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Offer ad hoc support to the broader team as required, including laundry and cleaning duties.
- Cert III Hospitality or equivalent experience highly regarded.
- Aged care experience desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with residents, staff, and families.
- An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes.
- Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week.
- A competitive salary range of $65,000 - $75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
