We are seeking a skilled Hospitality Service Assistant to join our team at Bupa Templestowe, located in the picturesque suburb of Templestowe. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional support to our residents and colleagues alike.

**About the Role**

The successful candidate will have previous experience in catering, food services, or cleaning, with a strong focus on maintaining high standards of hygiene and quality. You will be a team player who enjoys interacting with people and providing empathetic support to our most vulnerable residents.

**Responsibilities**

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining legislated workplace health and safety, quality, and hygiene standards
  • Completing required documentation and reporting
  • Responding to residents' queries and requests
  • Loading washers and dryers, sorting linen, hanging, folding, wrapping, or ironing linen
  • Assisting with basic food preparation, providing meals and snacks, clearing dining areas, and dishwashing
  • General cleaning, including mopping, vacuuming, and waste collection in residents' rooms, bathrooms, communal, and living areas

**Requirements**

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Cleaning or catering experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Flexible availability for various shifts throughout the week
  • An understanding of work health, safety, and hygiene practices and the ability to work unsupervised

The estimated salary for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
