About the Role

Scope is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in Traralgon. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently and thrive in their communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered support to individuals with disabilities in their homes, promoting independence and autonomy.
  • Assist with daily tasks and goals, using a strengths-based approach to empower individuals to reach their full potential.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless support and services.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance
  • Working with Children's Check (Employee)
  • Current Level 1 First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Valid Australian Working Rights
  • International Police Check if applicable
