Disability Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at Melba Support Services. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities.
Key Responsibilities- Implement support plans that cater to the unique needs, preferences, and interests of our clients.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, hygiene, and household duties.
- Transport clients to their chosen activities, appointments, and social events.
- Promote personal choice and control for our clients, empowering them to make informed decisions about their lives.
- Administer medication and provide support with medical needs.
- A passion for working with people with disabilities and a commitment to providing high-quality support.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Experience in or willingness to learn the skills required to provide personal care support to individuals with disabilities.
- A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and unrestricted Australian Driver's License.
- Current First Aid Certificate with CPR and evidence of COVID-19 vaccination status, including booster.
