About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at Melba Support Services. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement personalized support plans to meet the unique needs and goals of our clients.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Accompany clients to appointments, social events, and activities of their choice.
  • Promote client choice and control, empowering them to make decisions about their lives.
  • Administer medication and provide general care and support as needed.
Requirements
  • A passion for working with people with disabilities and a commitment to their well-being.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to the changing needs of our clients.
  • A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
  • A current First Aid Certificate with CPR.
