Job Description

We are dedicated to empowering individuals and communities through innovative capacity building initiatives.

  • We design and deliver community-based projects aligned with the National Disability Insurance Agency's ILC Policy Framework.
  • We build strong relationships with local organizations, government agencies, and diverse community groups.
  • We facilitate community mapping to identify service gaps and opportunities.
  • We co-design initiatives with individuals with disability and their families.

To achieve success in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in community development and/or capacity building with measurable outcomes.
  • A strong understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme, disability sector, ILC Policy Framework, and PitC program.
  • Proven ability to build genuine partnerships and co-design with individuals with a disability.
  • Experience in project planning, performance measurement, and community engagement.

Essential requirements include:

  • Tertiary qualification in community development, social work, or related field (desirable).
  • Access to reliable transport for local travel.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check & Working with Children's Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.
  • Valid Australian Working Rights.
