Security Design Consultant Job Description

Control Risks is a leading provider of security risk management and design solutions. We are seeking a skilled Security Design Consultant to join our expanding Crisis and Security Consulting practice in Australia Pacific.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to identifying new business opportunities and developing proposals to present to clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop project plans, travel to client sites, and attend weekly meetings with project stakeholders.
  • Deliver security design consultancy assignments, including drafting design stage documents and keeping up-to-date with advances in security technology.
  • Collaborate with the design team to deliver high-quality design deliverables.
  • Build and maintain successful relationships with existing clients and identify new business opportunities to expand the security design practice.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of five years' experience as a security design professional or in a related field.
  • Strong understanding of design engineering elements and proven track record of successful security design consultancy projects.
  • Good knowledge and experience in design and implementation of integrated electronic security systems and physical security measures.
  • Working knowledge of security management systems and experience working in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrable experience in applying risk management methodology.
Essential Qualifications and Specialist Skills:
  • Engineering degree in electronics and electrical engineering or communications.
  • Strong communication skills, including written and oral presentation skills.
  • Good skills in working with project management tools and strong commercial expertise.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
